Product description Original vintage photo of Jimmie Foxx, taken by famous Chicago sports photographer George Burke, beautifully inscribed and signed by Foxx in black fountain pen. PSA/DNA encapsulated, with the photograph certified as an original Type I example, and the signature certified as \"Authentic.\" The photo shows Foxx as a member of the Boston Red Sox, circa 1930s. Foxx\'s inscription, written partially atop his image, reads: \"To Marie and Chas.,two of the finest friends anyone could have,the best is not good enough for you and may the best always be yours, most sincerely Jimmie Foxx.\" Burke\'s credit stamp appears on the reverse. The large photo (7.5 x 9.5 inches) has been slightly trimmed to its current dimensions and is otherwise in excellent condition overall.
